Our Ayurvastra yoga blocks are made with organic cotton covers dyed using traditional herbal methods and filled with organic buckwheat husks for firm, stable support. They offer reliable alignment and confidence in standing, seated, and restorative poses. Available as a single block or a set of two, in the same plant-dyed colours as our rugs and pillows.

How they are made

All our products are made by hand in small batches. Organic cotton is dyed using the Ayurvastra process — infused with Kashayam (22 Ayurvedic herbs) and botanical dyes — then handwoven on traditional looms.

Because the fibres are dyed before weaving, colour is even and long-lasting; slight variations between batches are part of the craft. To learn more about the tradition and benefits, visit our Ayurvastra page.
